my name is Denis Murphy

I am a  Venture scout leader in

1st Dublin (Fairview) scout Group

I started my scouting life in 1972 in 18th Dublin (Santry) or Lorcan as it was then.

I was a Pl at the time.

My favourite camp that I will always remember was the Jamboree to Norway, where we won the best scout troop in our Sub camp, and our subcamp was the best subcamp in the site, so we were deemed to be the “Best troop in the world” at that time.

Many years later I joined 1st Fairview and am now over 20 years serving as a scout leader here.
